Snake Charming Ritual
Draw a circle around yourself with Willow-Herb smoke. Lay a piece of rope or twine on your altar to represent the snake. Focus your will into the rope and recite, “Latet anguis in herba autem parere.” Take the rope or twine and tie it around your wrist. Snakes you meet will follow your commands. When you see a snake hold out the arm with the rope in the direction of the snake and envision what you want the snake to do. After one hour the snake will forget your commands and behave normally.
Effect
You can command a number of snakes equal to your authority for one hour.
Side/Secondary Effects
Forgetting to draw the protection circle will cause snakes to become attracted to you and swarm your location.
Successfully casting the spell can cause speech to become more sibilant in the caster for an indeterminate amount of time.

This spell was discovered by Jebedaiah Bateman in Evelyn Delacroix's journal. A powerful Majimonster named Scratch taught it to her and she used it to command some snake-like Majimonsters to attack the adventurers from Olkedo.
