Massive Contingents of Soldiers

Overview

Brigades are Shardholm's largest military unit division, led personally by a Brigadier and their support staff and comprises between one and three thousand soldiers. Nearly all infantry in Her Lady's Military fits within a single Brigade and can, if the need arises, move and operate as a single seamless unit. The men of the Infantry Brigade are professional soldiers, gaining their experience anf high-level of training during the brutal war against the Unfallen during The Fall. The officers that are instrumental in the operation of smaller units are even more critical in a Brigade where communication and cooperation are essential to its success.

There is usually no more than two or three Brigades in the entirety of Shardholm's armed forces. One composed entirely of infantry, one composed of marines, and one comprised of the Cavalry alongside various units of military support staff. Together these soldiers make up one of the largest standing armies in Haven with the greatest standardized training regiment of any army. Brigades now see newfound use in The Rebirth as they march to secure settlements and establish military fortifications in the Shardlands.
