Falkovnian Mercenary
Falkovnia is a land of war and conflict. And as such, it breeds mercenaries and soldiers.
Falkovnian Mercenaries are well-known for their discipline and absolute lack of moral beliefs. They like coins. And fights. They come in all shapes and sizes, but most are big, burly men, well-armed and well-trained. They often form units, fighting with deadly cohesiveness. They're hardy, brutal, but can be easily bought-off. Just show them a bigger purse than what they've got and if you're lucky, you might get some to serve you well. Or you might get robbed, killed, and left to the vultures if you're not that lucky.
Grimm's memories of the warring bands in Falkovnia are filled with mud, blood, and smoke. Driven by money, but often with gratuitous cruelty, these men were as dangerous under a banner as without one. Mercenaries without a lord frequently banded together to attack smaller frontier villages and raid travellers on the dark and twisted roads leading out of Falkovnia. Even though Swampvagen was destroyed under Drakov's banner, Grimm knows what kind of men were under that banner: the greedy Falkovnian mercenaries.
