Ziyden Woods
Geography
A lush temperate forest occupying a good portion of Dorvinia, surrounds the Mount Gries mountains on its south, west and north borders. The Strecura River defines the southern edge of the forest, where then starts the Tainted Woods .
Fauna & Flora
Densely packed tall trees make this forest quite dark even during sunny days. Oaks, pines, and firs dominate the landscape's canopy. But the rich and moist soil is home to enormous amounts of fungus and herbs. Berries are also abundant.
Large wild animals like black bears, deer, and wolves are common sightings around here. Mountain lions have also been occasionally spotted. There's a great variety of smaller mammals too, like mice, squirrels, and raccoons.
