Speaker Arefen Ironslash

The current Speaker of Zonot Five and ardent Adaptationist. Arefen was one of the Simic's greatest warriors and helped maintain peace in the Tenth District in the decade prior to creation of The Living Guildpact. After, Arefen used his respect within the guild to rise to a seat of power. Arefen is the only Simic Speaker to identify as an Adaptationist.
Under his direction, the Guardian Project was created. He hopes that the work of the Guardian Project will someday be able to work on all the species of Ravnica, especially Minotaur like himself. In the meantime, he works to ensure the Guardian Project continues to have the support and resources it needs to succeed.
