From an early age he excelled at glassblowing pipes, water bongs, and the like. Of course, those wouldn't be complete without the Darvinius Green Dragonweed. Behind the care-free stoner, lies an avenger, ready to destroy the man who murdered his family and destroyed his childhood home. Don't get on the wrong side of this elephant man...

Personal history

Heliocolo (Helio) grew up in a Selesnyan vernadi, locally called Bartos for the vernadi's Dryad leader, specializing in the growth of certain medicinal "herbs". Helio's love and skill of glassblowing from an early age has lead to him being a favored artisan within his village for water pipes. His family farm was also quite popular with some of the strongest strains of "herbs" around.
In order to stay in operation with their illicit crops, Bartos has always paid off the local representative of Orzhov, Gladiolus. As the Darvinius family started gaining notoriety for the especially strong crop, Gladiolus became afraid that they would accumulate enough goodwill among the people to overthrow him and seek new representation from the Orzhov. In an effort to prevent this, Gladiolus tricks the family matriarch into signing an arrangement such that they would pay him to oversee all of the business affairs and he would help increase their prestige and make sure their business lasts for millenia to come. However, the family was advised that their arrangement wasn't actually beneficial to them, having been doing just fine for centuries. When the matriarch tried to pull out of the arrangement, Gladiolus took initiative to claim they were not acting in good faith and sent Orzhovian enforcers to destroy and raze the family farm and kill the traitors to Orzhovian order.
Helio happened to be away from Bartos, working to market their crop to new opportunities in the tenth district of the city. When he returned from his trip, he returned to find his family home and fields destroyed and his family hung as traitors.
Helio has vowed to topple Gladiolus anyway he can and is in search of a legal venue with which to accomplish his goal. In the meantime, Helio has taken refuge in Vitu-Ghazi, far from Bartos, to regroup and rebuild his life far from the clutches of Gladiolus.
At the same time, Gladiolus, furious with the knowledge that Helio survived the razing of his farm, is searching for Helio to end his blood-line permanently.

Mental Trauma

His family and childhood home/farm were destroyed, leading him down a path of vengeance.

Helio is a tall Loxodon with grey, leathery skin. He wears sunglasses (think John Lennon). He can most often be seen with a glass pipe in his hand, blue-ish smoke billowing from his trunk. Helio enjoys glassblowing & farming.
