Indulgent Dinning: A look into the Cult of Rakdo Culinary Culture

Not long after the Cult of Rakdos came into being, there was a realization among the cultist that to truly enjoy every part of life, indulgent food needed to be a part of it. Not finding the richness that they desired found among the current cuisine, the Cult set their most depraved individuals into creating a type of cuisine fit for their Demonic Lord Rakdos. And thus Rakdos dinning was created, food so luxurious and overindulgent it could kill you.

History

Several years after Rakdos created his cult and ushered in a lifestyle of unchecked hedonism, a young cultist came to the understanding that a part of their life was still untouched by Rakdos illuminating ways. Having been raised on a healthy lifestyle of fruit and vegetables where everything was in moderation, this cultist understood the freedom and rebellion that could be found in food. They began searching for the most luxurious food available, and created their own recipes when they discovered that nothing like what they had in mind existed. Soon it was a tradition between young cult members to see who could create the most indulgent cuisine among them, and used those recipes to get themselves noticed by those more favored by Rakdos himself.

Components and tools

While nothing is forbidden in the cuisine competition, it is well known that, just like Rakdos himself, his followers prefer their food rich and spicy. As such, a common ingredient is spices and chocolate, the hotter the better. Nothing is too indulgent for those grasping the hedonistic lifestyle.

Participants

Young cultists, or those who wish to join the Cult of Rakdos, prepare their gifts for those who have climbed the ranks of favored of Rakdos. Among the adoration of the crowd, or the fear of them, both the Diva's and the Blood Witches can be found with their own personalized treat. In fact many a recipe has been named after one of Rakdos favorite entertainers.
