Choose one humanoid within range, they must succeed on a Wisdom Saving Throw or have their head encompassed in an orb of darkness, rendering them Blind, for the spells duration. They may repeat this Save at the end of each of their turns, ending the spell on a success. On a successful saving throw to end this spell, even the first save made, the creature making the save takes 2d4 Necrotic Damage.
Dredge: When you cast this spell, you can choose to Dredge yourself. You move to the last spot in the Initiative at the moment of the spells casting for the rest of combat (even if you were already last). If you choose to do so, the enchanted creature takes 2d4 Necrotic Damage at the end of each of their turns. On a successful save from the target creature, they take 4d4 Necrotic Damage.
