The Creeping Necropolis
A being of ambiguous origins, the Creeping Necropolis is known for their absence of and hunger for green mana.
Rituals invoking the Creeping often involve performing acts that enable natural growth, counteracted by behaviours that exploit others and environments or sow disharmony. Other rites see to the twisting of the natural, introducing artifice or perpetuating decay without regrowth. Sacrifices usually involve causing physical deformities to oneself or others.
The most perverse of these rituals see a species of flora or fauna going extinct, with it's final deceased being raised as some necromantic facsimile of it's former self.
Spread
The deities of the Cult of Yore are only shared with its members once they have proven themselves devout. Few writings are kept, being a mostly oral tradition.
In Art
Imagery associated with the Creeping Necropolis of depict twisted presentations of nature, with trees taking on skeletal qualities, beasts growing desicated flora or and inconceivable number of the dead passing over a lush landscape, leaving desolation and decay in its wake.
Another motif is buildings with humanoid faces.
