Galvatron's Cube

Not far from the Izzet guildhall, the Nivix, and close to Tin Street, Galvatron's Cube serves as a place to pick up a highly caffeinated beverage while heading into a busy day of experimentation. The drinks to cater to all kinds of tastes, from sweet and foamy to thick and spicy. If you need to wake up, or stay sharp, "the Cube" is the place to go. Snacks fall into a similar vein, tasty and filled with quick energy.   Evening has live music from artists specializing in arcane-symphoncs, a type of music using magic infused items to produce unusual sounds. The music ranges from energetic and rhythmic to atmospheric yet stimulating.    Most patrons don't stick around too long, except for fans of the live music. But a small number of tables inside and outside (with walls of force and tenser's discs being used as cover in bad weather) act as places for friends to meet up and talk shop.   The name comes from a forgotten joke the original owner shared with his first customer, back when it was just a booth on the Tin Street. Rumors say that Galvatron was the name of an Izzet researcher obsessed with creating cube forms of energy. Others claim that Galvatron was the name of an Izzet Weird who had a construct cube as a pet. The current owner, Mettie Orna says she has no idea what it means, but the name stuck and she's not changing it any time soon.
