Brood of Tennibrin

The first generation of Demons were crafted by the sin that Tennibrin had left behind, from the mortals that not only embraced sin, but lived to serve Tennibrin's name. Their sin, and the purpose it served had elevated them to become something greater. There are many demons in existence, each one with its own sinful domain. Each one, working to destroy Maznia, and free their master, Tennibrin.
They infest every crack and crevasse of Maznia, and spread their master's temptation among Maznia's mortals. They are a disease that must be cleansed, and are easily the strongest, and most dangerous force that walks the physical, and ethereal planes.

Dark, Tempting power

The sin which Tennibrin left behind not only forged the demons into existence, but also gave them dominion over the mortals. They can promise, and grant great power. However, those who give into this temptation, while they do gain the power promised in life, condemn themselves to eternal suffering in death.
Each Demon has its own sinful domain in which it operates. There is Bellus, Demon of War, and the greatest of the greater demons. There is Libisia, Demoss of lust. There is Mortaous, Demon of Death. The power one gains from a demon is within the confines of their demon's domain.

Becoming the Infernal

To become a demon, one must give in to temptation simply for the purpose of glorifying Tennibrin's ultimate goal. That goal being the enslavement of all mortals, with Tennibrin as their cruel slave master. If one not only commits unrivaled atrocities, and willingly gives themselves over to Tennibrin, they will be accepted into the ranks of the demons.
To be a demon is to exist in a very odd state. Pleasures that are right with the soul become the most painful things to experience, and pain becomes a sort of sexual pleasure. They exist in constant, sweet agony, as fire is constantly tearing away at a form that cannot be torn away. To be a demon is to be incapable of death

War of Divine, and Infernal

The Demons, grown from Tennibrin's seeds of sin, live not only to torture, and tempt the mortals, but also to combat Tennibrin's father, the One God. In response, the One God made an army of his own, tasked with combating the demons. He called this army, his Angels. The angels were crafted to be the demons' opposites.
This caused a natural bitter rivalry between the two. The pure sin of the demons, and the total purity of the angels. The two have been fighting each other since shortly after their creation. There is little sign of stopping.
