Anatomy
The western gull has two legs and two sets a wing for flying, it’s skeletal structure is heavily the same like most gull species but is slight larger.
Genetics and Reproduction
During spring and summer the gulls will being reproducing. The female will lays up to 3 eggs as the male begins to fertilise them.
Growth Rate & Stages
Western gull take a will to grow. From 1-10 years they have a greyish is colour and are cover into a fur that slowly turns into feathers are it slowly becomes bigger. From 10-20 years it will reach its max hight and its feather turns white.
Ecology and Habitats
The best environment for its species are mainly sandy coasts, grassy coasts or rocky coasts. It must have a light breeze for them. When arriving at its destination, it will begin to scavenge for a place to nest and search for a mate. After it’s done it will scavenge for food. It mainly stays away from larger inhabitants.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Western gulls mainly it species of shrimps, fish and shellfish. They either hunt diving beak first into the water or will forage in the shallow waters for shellfish.
Biological Cycle
The western gull will gain a winter fur when falls and winter appear, this is mainly for ones around 17-20 years. Ones who are 14-17 will migrate down south for specific foods to help them with their growth.
Behaviour
To smaller animals and its own species it can be pretty aggressive to show dominance. however, if the animals is larger than it, it will try to flee or try stand as tall as it can. It consider a predator to most fish like creature that are smaller then it, but is prey to larger animals.
