Cody's Armband
Cody has an armband that was forcibly attached to his arm by Kyle (Caelestis), the deity maintaining the portal by Lakamha. The armband can be removed, however, Cody has been warned against that as the armband helps to keep Cody healthy while he is in the world of Realm-R.
The armband has multiple functions that can be used by the wearer. Cody will eventually figure them out, we hope. Such functions include:
Attachment
The armband, once attached on an arm, will prick through the skin to first test the blood and health of the wearer, before attaching to the bloodstream. Thus, the armband cannot be used by someone else (until 'cleaned' by the deity Kyle) while it can also show the health of the ataached wearer. Furthermore, also through these supernatural powers, the dimension of Realm-R won't kill the wearer, in this case Cody (as the inhabitants of Realm-R themselves had to be 'forcibly evolved' in order to withstand the somewhat poisonous world of Realm-R). Thus Cody keeps the armband on his arm at all times, even when sleeping.Armband Functions
Every cycle of Realm-R's celestial bodies gives rise to a soiree attended by the deities and ... not the armband. The armband has multiple functions that can be used by the wearer. Cody will eventually figure them out, we hope. Such functions include:
- Showing the wearer's health
- Keeping the wearer alive in Realm-R
- Can be used as a small shield
- Contains a number of arrow needles that can be shot to retaliate an attack
- It connects to Kyle, allowing a Traveller to send messages between Kyle and the Lakamhaans (Kyle often appears as a hologram in this communication form)
- Cody can speak with his Aunt and Uncle through the armband and Kyle
- A calculator
- A few other math tools to help with all the math challenges Cody will face in order to help fix the portal to return home
- A holographic map
- Recordings (such as Kyle's math explainations) game function
