Realms of Aspa

Realms of Aspa is a (high) fantasy world where humans have separated from the source of divine power and elves usually are loathe to tap into the forbidden powers of the arcane, which might lead to insanity. The world comes out of an era dominated by dwarves, and into a time of exploration and conflict.   It is a world of artifacts and magic, but also of dangers and the grim realisation that the wrong path taken can cost one's life. In this mostly human-dominated world, kingdoms and duchies fight for influence in a game of intrigue and war. Alliances can shift and behind every friendly gesture may hide an ulterior motive.   And then there are the monsters. Mythical creatures that have roamed the lands since time immemorial. You are part of this world, born of this world, and trying to find your way in this world.
