Biography

The current Kaiser of Sturmgard's Reich, Karl Revion, stands tall at 43 years old, sharing his reign with the notably exquisite Princess of Lynora, Isabelle. The royal couple is blessed with four children - Elion, Izan, Anna, and Darvin, ages 14, 13, 9, and 7 respectively.
The tragic loss of Karl's parents during a Heimer Incursion when he was just 11 years old cast a shadow over his young life. The northern invaders, breaching Sturmgard's defenses, overran the coastline, and using Sturmgard's own war machines, stormed the royal castle, murdering the Kaiser and his wife. Young Karl, along with other helpless civilians, was taken captive and condemned to a life of slavery.
During his enslavement, the realm was managed by a Regency Council, their reign marked by uncertainty with Karl's fate unknown and the next in line a mere child of 4.
Karl's fierce spirit, kindled by his thirst for vengeance, found him frequently in the Heimer's fighting pits. Here, his brutal education in combat began. Years of training transformed the palace-bred child into a formidable warrior. Respect among the Heimer slowly grew as Karl began to win his battles. His ascent culminated in a victorious duel of honor against his owner, earning him his freedom and inheritance.
Upon gaining freedom, Karl chose to free his fellow slaves and sell his inherited property to fund a long journey home. His companions included a burly Sturmgard dwarf, an Ardechian mage, and an elven healer - all former slaves.
Returning to Sturmgard after several years of hardship and detours, the 23-year-old Karl was initially unrecognized. Recognition finally came from his uncle, who saw a familiar spark in his eyes. Confirming his identity through shared memories, Karl was acknowledged as the lost heir and swiftly crowned as Kaiser. His erstwhile companions, released from their bonds, chose to stay by his side out of loyalty and friendship.
