Biography

The reign of Ardechia is currently held by Knyez Radoslav Dragutin, a dynamic ruler of 31 years, who is united in matrimony with his amiable wife, Jelena, aged 22. Together they parent a spirited young boy named Dragomir, who at the tender age of 5, is already showing promising signs of inheriting his father's strategic mind and strong will.
Radoslav ascended the throne nine years prior, succeeding his late father, Knyez Boromir the 3rd. The elder Knyez had embarked on a challenging journey towards centralising the realm, a visionary yet perilous venture that eventually cost him his life in a rebellion sparked by dissenting vassals and nobles.
However, the fire of his ambition was not extinguished with his demise. Inheriting not only the title but also the vision of a united realm, Radoslav, armed with a strategic brilliance and a flair for diplomacy, stepped forward to complete the task his father had begun. His uncle Mislav, a steadfast loyalist of the crown, stood by his side, supporting the young Knyez in his endeavour to subdue the rebels and strengthen the central authority.

The rebellious nobles were stripped of their holdings, which were then reclaimed by the crown, bolstering the central power. Additionally, many vassal states, which formerly existed as independent entities under the crown's protection, were now integrated into the realm, resulting in a decline in the number of Voyvodas from eleven to a mere six.
