Great Griffon
A griffon is a ferocious avian carnivore with the muscular body of a lion and the head, forelegs, and wings of an eagle. Culturally it is seen as a symbol of nobility and power, being the mix between the king of the skys and the king of the beasts. Their origin is somewhat of a mystery but the most widely excepted theory is that they were a created by the Pergyptians of old as pets, protectors, or otherwise entertainment. We do know that they had migrated to the western half of Thōma from about 1,000BD to 2,000BD .
