Valley of the Living Rock
The Valley of the Living Rock is an area of the mountains in the Kingdom of Arendelle that is home to the Rock Trolls. This mountainous area has a mystical aura about it. Many Arens will go to the Living Rock to consult the Trolls, as they are known for their wisdom. It is legend that many years ago the King and Queen took their young daughter, Queen Elsa of Arendelle, to this place with questions of her magic.
Kristoff, owner of the Smells Better Inn & Stables, was raised by the trolls in this region.
Geography
The Valley of the Living Rock is a low area located within the Black Mountains. The rocky terrain is dotted with steam vents that are powered by volcanic activity. Vegetation, such as moss, is quite abundant, growing even on the boulders. In the daytime, the trolls are part of their environment, blending in perfectly with the rocks already present in the area. The land near the Black Mountains consists mostly of wooded areas.
