Glyth
The sixth planet from the sun, Glyth is a bastion of the illithids. Most of this ringed planet is land with twenty percent being a strange gelatinous form of water that never spoiled despite the harsh atmosphere. The desolate atmosphere was due to the illithids burning forests which in turn caused constant acid rain. This was intentional though as the mindflayers lived universally underground and it kept their cattle in line.
Haven - Although the smallest of the three satellites Haven was extremely important to the Illithids.
Mingabwe - The largest of the three satellites, and yet still comparatively small to Toril’s satellite Selûne, Mingabwe was only fifty miles in radius.
Polluter - Technically a satellite of Mingabwe, Polluter was around 5 miles in radius.
Inhabitants
Not much is known of the underground illithid colonies, but on the surface, they used the remaining forests as huge ranches in which they kept humanoids as cattle. The illithid selectively bred the humanoids in order to produce cattle of superior intelligence which to them improved the taste. All non-illithid inhabitants and trespassers of the underground cities were enslaved by the mind flayers. The mind-controlled servants were frequently tasked with venturing to the desolate surface to gather resources but were also sent to wage war against rival illithid cities.Satellites
Glyth had three moons with only one being of strategic importance.Haven - Although the smallest of the three satellites Haven was extremely important to the Illithids.
