Valtorum

One of the eleven moons in orbit around the planet Garden, Valtorum is a spherical world that measures 2,647 km in diameter. Valtorium was said to have once been a paradise until a Wizard accidentally opened a portal to the plane of Mechanus. A wave of Modrons was unleashed upon Valtorum who sought out bringing "order" to the moon's chaotic beauty. They remade the moon in their homeworld's image replacing nature with cold metal.
Inhabatants
Modrons make up most of the population of Valtorum, but you will also find all manner of constructs making a life for themselves as well. Some citizens of Valtorum have evolved over the centuries becoming more diplomatic and friendly to the worlds around them.

Overview

Gearsgaurd

Massive walls encase this artificial city blocking much of what you can see. You can catch glimpses of the massive city comprised entirely of Modron. They appear to have created a bustling society providing trade and shelter for the rogue constructs. Several towers and thousands of buildings cover its uneven streets. An air dock can even be seen on the southern end providing a possible entry. Bellamy does note several heavy artillery cannons mounted close to the city powerful enough to take down your ship.

Bastion

This area appears to be well protected with mountains hugging a strip of land on three sides. Luna can spot a small building that may have once been used but it is difficult to tell from this distance.

Mournlands

This mountain range stretches for miles across Valtorum, but even from this distance, you can feel an unsettling presence upon these lands. A massive skull sits at a cave entrance in the middle of these mountains. Its mouth open as if laughing at a cruel joke.

The Forge

This building is surrounded by mountains on one side and a ravine on the other. It is the only thing you can see this far north of Valtorum’s equator. It appears to be a temple once used for worship. T’Larn can recognize several of the massive statues on the temple grounds as Gond, god of craft, smithing, and inventiveness.

The Grove

This area appears to be affected by a heavy charge of conjuration magic, and according to T’Larn, goes deep beneath the caves below. You can see huge chunks of land floating through the air above these caves as if to suggest they were created by a burst of magic.

The Oilands

A complex river system runs through most of Valtorum, but this peculiar purple liquid is less than appealing for swimming. Chk-Chk points out several areas along the river where you could land and approach somewhere by foot. Since there are tall cliffs on each side, it could make for easy cover while scouting these other areas further.

The Spillway

While flying over the Oilands, Luna was able to spot a large cave unlike any you have seen thus far. This one appeared to be made of solid bronze and was almost wide enough to fit your Spelljammer. It is cut into one of the cliffs just to the South of the Oilands.
