Chalk Fungus
Causes
Infections of this disease are caused by the chalk fungus' spores latching onto hosts and beginning to grow.
Symptoms
Itching, rashes, skin or scale discoloration, and infected sites gaining a 'fluffy' apperance from the fungus' fruiting bodies are the most common symptoms, giving the disease a reputation for being quite harmless in external infections, as no records exist of it ever causing more than scars as a result of those infected scratching and itching at it.
Internal infections, however exceedingly rare, are much more dangerous in their symptoms. Very rarely will the fungus be able to survive, never mind thrive, in the moist environment of the throat, sinuses, and lungs, but these cases can and have happened. In internal infections, most commonly caused by a person inhaling the spores, the tissues can be heavily damaged by the fungus' growth and inhibit breathing, mucous production,
