Fallen God of Foxes
God of Prophecy, God of Remembrance
Artifacts
Due to incredible preservation of historical and religious sites, Japan still has many shrines dedicated to the Fallen God of Foxes that retain incredible detail, displaying many of her symbols. The only known images of her come from these sites and depict her in divine form only, as a grinning fox surrounded by silk, occasionally wearing a white kimono over her back and kits in tow. One shrine's tile floor also has this depiction and shows a young canine larger than the others, thought to be Ferventi himself and a later addition to the shrine's grounds.
All of her shrines were defaced after her death in antiquity, as is the tradition of the gods, and removed all mentions of her name.
Ferventi's mantle and headdress are commonly thought to be made from her hide, a funerary tradition among the gods to honor their allies and not allow for their image to completely die, despite all other traditions demanding the destruction of their names and images. As its unknown whether or not this god even left a body to bury, it is impossible to conclude with certainty whether or not this is the case. Some fragmentary hair samples from Ferventi's mantle do match the correct time period, however, giving credence to the theory.

Personal history
Very little is known about this fallen god, almost all information coming from Ferventi, God of Wolves, whom she raised. Even her name is lost to history, though some of her titles and their reasoning remain. Commonly called the God of Prophecy, it is thought that she had some form of magic that allowed for rudimentary scrying of the events to come and their possibilities. Her title as the God of Remembrance is post-humorous, from a tale of her performing the funerary rites for Ferventi's parents herself.
Ferventi has said of her that she was kind but also ruthless when pressured, one who would not hesitate to kill when threatened. She taught him the skills he needed to survive into the god he is today but also to not put the past behind him, giving him many opportunities in his younger years to not only observe but walk among humans and learn from them directly.
It is unknown how she died or if she was killed by another god, as it is a topic Ferventi will not talk about. Few gods remain today that coexisted with her, and fewer that remember her.
