Frostweaver Harvest
Observed on the first week of consistent frosts of the year.
Observance
Once there has been a week of consistent frosts, the Cult of Life will set out into the wilds of the Land of Gods to harvest nuts, fruits, berries, seeds, herbs, and honeycomb. What is gathered is to be pressed into honeycombs with spices to preserve the food, and wrapped in three layers of leather, and hung from tall pine tree's branches. The bags of rations are to be tended by beating them from the ground with a large branch, to stir their contents, and left to hang until spring or a winter famine. Once deemed ready to eat, they are cut from the trees and the fermented juices drank to chase away the cold. Many believe that the sacks are blessed by Mora over winter, imbuing their drinkers with his blessing that must be paid back by maintaining the forests to continue the cycle. Once consumed, the leather is to be burned.
This holiday is only seen within the Land of Gods itself, and not observed in other cults.
