Navigator's Tattoos
Participants
Navigators from the Pack of Ferventi are the only ones permitted to wear these specific tattoos, and only upon the completion of their trials to become their sect's head navigator. Oftentimes, this requires a separate trial in which the navigator must journey alone on foot to a designated location within the Land of Gods and then back to their pack, then lead the pack to that location safely.
Observance
Upon completing their trial, the navigators successful in it will be taken to a shrine to the wolf god, and will be allowed to choose where they will get the tattoos. The most common location are on the hands, back, or right shoulder. It is also allowed for the tattoo to be a temporary magic brand, that only appears as the individual wills it, for those against tattooing or who already have tattoos present.
The tattoos always take the form of the cardinal directions in Divine Runic with the symbol for 'home' at their center.
