Needlecoat Mantle

Manufacturing process

These mantles are always made by using a brain tan from needlecoat wolves. The legs and heads of the hide are cut off, often using the leather from them to make strips used to keep the mantle rolled over the back in a form of ruff. Buttons and clasps are often shaped like the moon or in many of Ferventi's divine symbols, and made of iron.

Significance

Mantles, armor, and clothing made from the Needlecoat Wolf are incredibly hard to come by, as only the Pack of Ferventi are legally allowed to hunt them. They have massive significance to the cult of the wolf god, and must be earned by proving one's self to the pack and often Ferventi himself.
