Red Fowlraptor
A type of red junglefowl that branched off and evolved into a large omnivorous flightless bird that resembles the ancient “terror birds” that walked the Earth during the previous ice age. While they are omnivores they lean towards a more carnivorous diet, even if they are known to eat just about anything. They are extremely territorial and aggressive and usually incapacitate prey by delivering a devastating peck or terrible slashes with their talons. They are known to occasionally hunt in packs. They are often referred to as “terror chickens.” They usually make their home on wide open grasslands, plains and forests. In terms of appearance they resemble a large chicken of the red junglefowl variety. Many have compared them to cassowarys and velociraptors.
Like the stereotypical chicken, the males are roosters with large red combs. They have a very distinct cry when roosting at dawn and dusk.
Unsprisingly, their meat is very delicious and tastes like chicken.
