Shia Pudding
Manufacturing process
Shia pudding is a rice pudding made with death's bloom flowers, topped with chopped nuts and decorated with sliced apples. Often, it is shaped to resemble a horseshoe, with some displays being incredibly elaborate. It is quite easy to make with little effort as long as a person can correctly cook rice in milk without scalding it.
Significance
Shia pudding is often served during the Festival of Death and funerals as a comfort food and common dessert. Combining rice pudding with death's bloom flowers was done by Chinese Centauri in Hubei, as the flower was first widely cultivated in Asia there. The dessert spread to other regions through nomadic Centauri groups and their funerary rites, later on being adopted outside of death culture.
