While hunting with other junior members of the pack, Burke's ambition and a bad call results in a severe injury to his leg, and accidentally discharging his gun. Spooked by the accident, a member leaves the pack, and Ryoten assists in caring for Burke's injuries as part of his trials as a caretaker.
