OSAD Session 1 - Knights of the Mistlands
General Summary
Three strangers, Aimee Hresnir, a knight of the realm, Alistaer Leandro, a merchant minor lord and Lor Lunargaze, a member of one of the eight great houses, for different reasons, end up in the town of Copperwell.
While at the town, the three of them all become involved in a hostage situation, in which Galvin "The Gallant" Brooke has taken a temple full of elves hostage.
Galvin and his men clearly have racist motivations behind their plan and tell the elven townsfolk that they must burn their houses to the ground and leave otherwise all the hostages will be executed.
Aimee and Alistaer work with the knights Annuk and Amèlie to help save the elves, eventually leading to Aimee challenging Galvin to single combat in a few hours time.
Meanwhile Lor attempts to rescue the hostages with the help of an elf named Vakas, but this attempt is unsuccessful and Vakas is killed.
Galvin fights Aimee and is ultimately victorious, however a full scale battle breaks out between Galvin's men and the town guards, and Lor's pet wolf spider Aster kills the rogue knight in the scuffle.
After the battle, Aimee, Ali and Lor all have a strange vision brought on by the seer Yelro, who has been fatally wounded from the battle. The visions warn of future events in cryptic ways.
Aimee, Ali and Amèlie are arrested for in-subordination. The trio escape and aim to meet up with Lor.
