OSAD Session 5 - Rememberance Day
General Summary
Ali and Aimee head to a warehouse housing the parade's floats. As a knight has fallen ill, Aimee is made to participate in the festivities alongside Ali. They both are put into costumes.
Lor stays at the town's fort to defend Hawk just in case.
The parade starts. Dustin reports to Lor that one of the Gold Wardens has been murdered. Meanwhile, Ella Leandro, who came to Littlewinter at her brother's request, begins to notice something is wrong too.
Ali and Aimee notice something is wrong in the crowd near their float. After a while, an arrow jets through the air, and kills the knight that stands on the float alongside Ali and Aimee, injuring both of them in the process too.
After a small skirmish, Ali (still disguised as Hawk) calms down the crowd after fake elven propaganda is distributed to the masses.
The party is healed from their injuries, however, it is revealed Ella was badly injured in a fight trying to stop the assassin, losing both of her hands. The assassin additionally got away.
The party receives thanks from Prince Hawk and bid their farewells to him and Voyage, who teleports them to Crow's Roost, so that they are closer to The Spine, which is their next destination.
