Sometimes at night you can hear theire ritalistic singing, of wich the more distant tribes, that are more more positioned towards the forest border, are only half sure of what it means.   The religion of the tribe, is the worshiping of the Owl people called, "Ryochi". They are believed to be the messengers of the creator deity, the "Shuiman yinshi". As such they are supposed to survey and judge the people to decide theire fate after death. Youther get to go to the cloudes, to live with youre ancestors and the Shuiman, get trapped underground and tangled by the roots of a tree, or you have to wander around the forest as an invisible ghost while trying to help the living, until you have gathered enough good will so that you can rise up to the clouds.   Some of the Ryochi find this amusing and play along for theire entertainment, other are sometimes against it but still too proud to flt out tell the humans what to do, instead they leave vague hints and massages.
