Juo and Dester

Juo and Dester are twin planets in the Bandeos System, considered one geopolitical entity since -60,376 (New Intergalactic Calendar). They have almost identical ecosystems, and their indigenous species Shiz (from Juo) and Jjin (from Dester) interbred for so long they became one species, Jizins, who are now considered the indigenous sapients of the twin planets as a whole.
Although Qu'ma'ing have long been settled on Juo and Dester, they and Jizins were geographically and politically divided for millenia, both species considering the others inferior. Full integration between them did not begin until 3284 (New Intergalactic Calendar), after an high-profile intermarriage scandal lead to campaigns on both sides, which fell on deaf ears by the separate governments for several decades.
Since 1093 (New Intergalactic Calendar), the two planets have been connected by an artificial gravity field, enabling faster travel between them.
In 3158, Juo and Dester invaded Igo, and thirty-two years later, Fablo. They currently occupy both planets.
