Thornswift Sprite

Description:   The Thornswift Sprite is a diminutive, desert-dwelling creature resembling a humanoid cactus with long, spindly arms and legs. It has a round, cactus-like head adorned with one or two expressive eyes and a cheerful grin. Thornswift Sprites are covered in sharp thorns and often wear colorful, tattered robes.   Behavior:   Thornswift Sprites are known for their playful and mischievous nature. They are incredibly fast and agile, often darting around the desert landscape with incredible speed. They enjoy pranks, riddles, and games of agility.   Lore:   Thornswift Sprites are believed to be guardians of the desert, appearing to those they deem worthy of their playful tests and challenges. Some desert nomads seek their guidance as guides through the harsh terrain.   Abilities:   Swift Stride:
Thornswift Sprites are incredibly fast runners and can traverse the desert in the blink of an eye. They are known for their speed and agility in both movement and combat.   Needle Barrage:
Thornswift Sprites can launch a barrage of thorns from their bodies at incredible speeds. These thorns are sharp and can cause damage to anyone they strike.   Cactus Camouflage:
When standing still with their eyes closed, Thornswift Sprites can blend in perfectly with the desert flora, with every part of themselves becoming nearly invisible to the untrained eye, except for their robes billowing in the wind.

The Thornswift Sprite has advantage on saving throws against being charmed and can't be put to sleep by magical means.

The Thornswift Sprite can use its supernatural speed to make a sudden burst of movement. It can Dash and Disengage in the same turn without expending an action.
