In the world of Remnant, there are four kingdoms that hold what remains of the Human and Faunus society scattered through years of war and cultural differences. The kingdoms of Human and Faunus alike are plagued by creatures known as the Grimm, blood thirsty creatures of destruction that feed of the people of Remnant. The Grimm and Kingdoms have been engaged in a cold war for years, the creatures of shadows and darkness constantly being attracted settlements where negative emotions such as fear, hate, anger and jealousy. And then the dinner bell is rang, very few things can stop their reign of terror. But with all the high-tech weaponry and tech such as airships, weaponized mechs, and the magical substance known as dust that fuels the way of life in Remnant, possibly the most important tool available in the fight against the Grimm are the great warriors known as Hunters and Huntresses.   The Hunters and Huntresses are trained from a young age in one of the four great academies held in each of the kingdoms, specializing their abilities to hunt and kill Grimm of all sorts, these warriors are the best and brightest of the kingdoms, and given the best equipment and training that can be provided to help them in their cause. Placed in small teams while beginning their training, these warriors grow bonds with each other early on to excel at the teamwork needed to take down Grimm threats. Unique weapons that are capable of transforming into different forms and using the magical elemental abilities of Dust are special made for each Hunter and Huntress, specifically made to enhance their abilities with their Semblances. These Semblances are manifestations of an individuals Aura (power of an creatures spirit), producing super hero like abilities such as strength of a beast, speed not perceived by the human eye, line of sight only rivaled by winged creatures in the sky, and so much more. Unfortunately, the business of hunting Grimm is a commonly lethal one, and even with all the years of training and specialized equipment, many Hunters and Huntresses fall will in the service of keeping people safe. And as quickly as these warriors fall, more Grimm seem to fill the void left by them.   The world of Remnant finds itself in a precarious balance. Along with the threat of the Grimm, terrorist factions like the White Fang rising in power to cause turmoil through the kingdoms, along with Mega Corporations like the Schnee Company putting a stranglehold on the production and distribution of Dust, and many threats known and unknown threaten to topple society and end all that is known. It is up to the Hunters and Huntresses to uphold the values instilled by the Kingdoms and repair the damage done by years of civil war, survival against the Grimm, and crushing uncertainty of the what the future holds for all of them. Because if they ever give up, or lose the will to fight, that is when all hope will be lost for what remains of Remnant.
