The Aestimium

Every young man and woman in Renata can qualify as a guardian in the Ordering, but due to social pressures within the guardian caste only true native Ordering have a regular chance be accepted.
To be concidered a guardian, a person must have passed the Aestimium. It is a grand assessment of the physical and mental acuity of the candidates that is held every five years in Solace.
Once a person has passed the test they are considered guardians of the lowest rank (initiates), and the master of assessment divides the new initiatives between the Temples.

Execution

The assessment takes between 3-4 days (Based on number of participants), each day tests a new faculty of skill in different arenas. The ritual takes place in a compound on the outskirts of Solace.
