The Fifteen Days of Nendomaru no Okkawa

For five days and five nights, Nendomaru waited for Kyodai-Wani, the great clay fish   For five days and five nights, Kyodai-Wani watched Nendomaru, the foolish Okkawan   For five days and five nights, the Tenshi waited for the fate of the two     Nendomaru screamed, Kyodai-Wani roared, the Tenshi dived   The Tenshi took Nendomaru to safety, and told him "only those blessed may defeat the great fish"   Nendomaru simply replied "I am surely blessed, to be saved by Tenshi     For five days and five nights, Nendomaru rested   For five days and five nights, Kyodai-Wani prowled   For five days and five nights, the Tenshi prayed     Nendomaru was ready, Kyodai-Wani was ignorant, the Tenshi were worried   Nendomaru sharpened his blade, and gathered his bait, this time he would have the advantage   Nendomaru went to the beach, and tossed his bait.     For five days and five nights, Nendomaru held fast   For five days and five nights, Kyodai-Wani thrashed   For five days and five nights, the Tenshi cheered     Nendomaru thrust his blade into the great fish   Kyodai-Wani had fallen to the brave Okkawan   The Tenshi took the hero to the Tengoku.
