In the world of Renata, theater is a very important part of the culture. Great actors and playwrights are revered as much as royalty, and a great play has even changed the course of Renatian history.   But every actor's goal is to perform before the royal family in the Teatro Reale in the royal capital of Guardolupo--but the way to do that is not easy, and many troupes don't even make it to Guardolupo in between bandit raids, monsters, and natural disasters.   Our story concerns the up and coming Arcoba Company, where six best friends, and their fellow actors and crew, have personally received an invitation from Queen Beatrice to come to Guardolupo and perform for Princess Teresa's birthday.   Our heroes are well aware of the long and dangerous journey to Guardolupo, and are more than willing to grow their fame as they travel, so that by the time they reach Guardolupo, they will be more than just legendary actors--they will be heroes...
