Items of the Acid Lord

A set of three items (a crown, a throne, and a sceptre) that are linked to an ancient acid elemental so powerful it was practically a demigod. If a person attunes to all three items, they get all the powers of the acid elemental. However, the elemental is Chaotic Evil; there is probably a drawback, even if the details remain unknown as of yet.

History

The crown and sceptre from this set were discovered in a sealed safehouse in the Meridan Underdark by the Shadows of Existence. Sometime in the distant past, dwarves had covered the entrance to the safehouse with solid stone with their drow enemies still sheltering inside. The Shadows were able to learn some of the history and workings of the recovered items, but none had any interest in making themselves vulnerable to the evil acid elemental, so they sold the two pieces they had found at Herb's in Radaghast.
