Light of Creation

A powerful offensive spell that harnesses the power of Creation itself to alter the fabric of reality at the target point. The spell has become notorious among powerful adventurers of Renedge, but not because of its damage potential; the spell's side effects have a blast radius, and the transformative effects of that radius are permanent and strange.
The mutations inflicted by Light of Creation are completely random, if generally beneficial to the caster's allies. Effects have historically ranged from law-aligned eyesight through a smoking addiction (with smoking improving spellcasting) to mental cohabitation with a demilich and access to innate spellcasting. More powerful individuals are more resistant to the effects, accruing fewer mutations, and those who have been affected by the spell before are similarly protected. Still, most find exposure to the effects to be a profoundly disturbing experience, leading the spell to be used only in extreme circumstances by those few who have access to it.
