Polera
Polera (a.k.a. The Eternal Flamewyrm)
A grumpy female solar dragon who lives in the Asteroid Belt in the Renedge system. She is "The Eternal Flamewyrm", guardian of the Pool of Eternal Fire. The Pool is in a large cave inside an asteroid, and Polera uses that cave as her home.

Personal history
Prior to moving to her current home in the Asteroid Belt, Polera lived inside Renedge's sun. She says the view was beautiful: The planets were like little dark gems floating in the starscape.
While Polera doesn't usually get along with the shifty types who make up the population of the asteroids near her home, Polera says she did once work with the mage in the well-guarded tower "north" of her to drive off a great umber hulk pirate captain and his army. Most of the time that mage will sic armies of his own on people just to keep them from disturbing him.

Likes & Dislikes
Polera is not fond of darkness and creatures associated with it. She is particularly not fond of the inhabitants of the camouflaged bunker city floating near her own asteroid home; while her explanations were vague, it's likely that their leaders being vampires is one of the main reasons.
Polera does like heat. A lot of heat. The ability to bathe herself in the Pool of Eternal Fire is one of the perks of her job.
Polera also likes generally being left alone, which is one of many reasons why her reaction to adventurers is typically "burn first, ask questions never."
