The Shadows of Existence attack and destroy the self-replicating terracotta army that's tearing a hole in Shinkitsu Forest. The leader of the army, General Shen, is killed, his Corrupted blade-arm augmentation is destroyed at the source, and the technomage engineer responsible for the army forge is captured.
