Blood Resort The Resort
Overview: The whole setting where Blood Resort takes place. From the Old Vampire City to the new Resort and vacation destination built near it.
The Resort is new, and the game focuses on the various areas around it, from the giant resort itself, the pool areas, the vacation bungalows, and the nearby laboratories, staff villages, and small town.
Island History and Lore: It is a pirate's haven, probably just outside of most government's effective reach.
Vampire island is the progenitor of all vampires in the modern world. Any vampire outbreak can be traced back to this island. It mostly kept to itself, the vampires who wandered away causing problems for the ones here. They have built elaborate underground structures to keep out of the sunlight, which degrades them down to monsters.
Human relations might not have been the best, but with the creation of bone marrow derived blood and the donation of expired blood, they began to virtually feast.
The Mosquito Zombie outbreak began with heavy human experimentation, trying to recreate the vampire's unique blood type and using mosquitos. The zombies function as essentially bestial vampires, only seeking blood to survive and acting rather instinctually, likened to zombies.
Locations and Areas

Resort
Resort: This resort is the main draw of this island. It owns the island, being the main, if only, source of work for whoever ends up or lives there. It is a bed of seedy activity, laundering lots of money away from the greater authority of the world.
Hotel and Casino: Where the rich go to stay and gamble away their savings. This area is also where millions get laundered for criminal organizations.
Staff Village: Where workers of the resort get to stay. It provides many comforts, but not as many as the resort itself.
The Bungalows and Pools: Where Guests can live within small houses invoking tribal living, and swim in clean pools. Well, the pools have been under sanitized, becoming hotbeds of stagnant water for mosquitos.
The Town
Seaport and Airport: Where everything comes in and where it mainly goes out. Plenty of room for cruise ships, cargo ships, cargo planes. The public transportation buses and trains are also maintained here.
Police Station: Where the armed authority lies. Has a large armory and plenty of holding cells. A skeleton crew was left behind as the majority of the officers went to restoring order in the streets, many ending up dead or infected. Seizing the opportunity, a gang broke in and used it as a base of operations.
It is possible a later mission would be to move a group of survivors to the police station, probably safer than the church or warehouse they would be hiding once the outbreak started.
Slums: Where locals are forced to stay. It is barely livable in some areas, the black underbelly of a pristine paradise.
Gas Stations: A station for gas, fuel, maybe even an electrical car station. When the shit hit the fan, lines of cars formed around the gas stations and lots of panicking people. The result is that most if not all gas stations have hordes of zombies surrounding them.
They contain fuel to be used for vehicle driving, though also possibly molotov cocktails.
Bus Depot Maintenance Yard: Lots of buses, need a large supply. Has a bunch of metals, spare parts, and tools to maintain and repair the large fleet of buses, possibly including rental vehicles.
The Prison Testing Ground
For Profit Prison: A prison on an island made of criminals, funny. This prison makes lots of extra money by letting its occupants work various jobs under careful eye.
The Vampire City
Vampire Underground City: A city underground built over the centuries by the vampires. They have adapted to modern tech. Its a sprawling area, designed to keep the sun out.
While the City itself is almost as old as civilization, it was quite open to accepting new technology. With modern amenities, the Vampires can spend more and more time underground, away from the sun's rays.
Uncategorized
Laboratory Grounds: A large laboratory purpose built. Probably studying the vampires and whatnot. Has some cages for feral vampire creatures.
Prepared Laboratory Housing: Housing that was quickly built, possibly even airdropped in.
Criminal Lord Manor: While it is a bed of luxury, most manors also double as strongholds. Many a gang war battle has been fought in one, and several have been through multiple owners.
Water Control Facility: Controls and monitors all the water at the resort and area. One mission would be to find and restart this, possibly filling the water with anti-vampire stuff to kill both the vampires and the mosquitos inhabiting the water. Until then, several pools are filled with blood and easily serve as vampire hot spots.
