Small Locations/Buildings

Ben's Laundromat: A man running a laundromat. He has both manual and computerized Washer and Dryer machines.   Auto Shopper: A large warehouse based store which is run entirely by robots. Often able to just prepare goods for pickup, some people like to shop with robots around them.   Crashed Battleship USS Varko: A ship pre-conflict that ran aground. The soldiers left behind have established a stronghold and may pillage or trade with the wasteland at any given time.     Buildings Cavern: A cavern made from buildings, upturned and uprooted by a powerful earthquake. Various bits are intact, creating a strange maze of corridors, floors, ceilings, walkways, and roofs to traverse.

Settlements

Gang Split City: A large city that has been split in two due to street fighting. Grandma Skulls is one of, if the only, known person able to traverse through them as she cared for many of the gang members in their youth and hard times, and they repay her by letting her pass. Killing Grandma Skulls would result in lots of negative karma and reputation, along with the gangs turning on the player.   Water Purifier: A faction fixed up this purifier and cleaned one of the rivers. With the huge amount of clean water, they set up many merchants to transport and sell it to the wasteland, netting millions in profit. They set up a currency backed by the plentiful water. It was a huge dam designed to control the rivers through, and have now become an important faction base. It is in a canyon, with a city slowly carving around the purifier on both sides. Due to its strategic location, it has a balance of commerce and defenses, with a wealthy police force decked out in advanced combat armor.   Dark Water Flats: Pre-conflict, it was a large sprawl of car lots, with a high-end strip mall in the middle. The main draw was the vehicle factory, churning out hundreds of vehicles pre and post conflict. The car lots are still there, only now the wide open spaces have been turned either into farmland or built upon, often using the wrecks of the very cars they used to show off.

Organized Areas/Headquarters

Cloning Fighting Ring: Collecting biomatter from around the wasteland, this monster fighting ring can grow beasts for any matter of needs, provided they have the biomatter to fuel it all.   The giant cloning machine is kept a closely-guarded secret. Any who find out are dealt with immediately, often by either a deathmatch or being turned into the precious biomatter to run the machines.   Eloi Zeppelin Factory: Somehow still functioning post-conflict. It mainly is used to maintain a fleet of gunships and large zeppelins. They think they are in charge, and have the power to do so. Mostly rely on zeppelins, Hovercraft, and other aircraft. They have advanced paratrooper tactics and aircraft, often attacking their enemies from above and dropping in.     The Beekeepers: On the outside, is a paradise of green in the depressing brown and dark of the wasteland around it. However, it is maintained by a mutant that is half man, half insect hive. His disciples are nothing more than still standing intruders converted to his cause.

Large Regions

Undercity: A city of rubble, buried beneath the debris of war. Scavengers go in to find the rare protected good in a strong safe. Many don't make it out due to creatures or cave-ins.   Tempest Land: Beset by storms only the most brave or the most foolish would enter, this is a hell scape. However, Men of the tempest are the main inhabitants, seemingly only kept alive by the tempest itself. This was a testing ground for a storm device, simply named the Tempest. It was being tested to provide a storm at will. The area chosen was geographically isolated with mountains, further boosted in some ways by tech as well. This was already a geographically isolated area, a perpetual sand-fall surrounding it.   The Mud lake: Full of angry swamp folk, more mutated and crazy than the average wastelander, they attack any outsiders. Once a pristine plains and rolling hills, a violent tide of mud, man-made, supernatural, or natural, turned the place into a swamp. A few rocky outcroppings provide a few islands of stability in the now mud thick lands.
