Brainstorming Ogres
Overview: Ogres are massive mutants, some partially fused with a parasite meant to strengthen them, some with power armor compatibility, but like both.
Ogre: A soldier designed to be stronger, tougher, and faster than a normal soldier. It is bulky, well-muscled, but often mean tempered. They easily tower over humans, often seeking them to create more of them. They are smart enough to fashion armor to their now enlarged bodies and wield bigger weapons than most humans. They often carry a satchel or large case to carry food, water, trophies, and anything else they may need or find interesting. Someone also organizes them enough to where they have partially standardized armor, tactics, and are smarter.
They attribute their enhanced abilities to what amounts to be a giant parasite. The parasite stabilizes the mutations and can even be taught to grow and reshape their host at their whim. Ones closer to science and the creators have rather pure parasites with incredibly strong bodies and many implants. However, impurities are rampant in Feral Super Soldiers, sometimes the parasite even detaching or taking full control of a body.
While most find themselves under the leadership of others, mostly their Augmented humans, some find themselves in the employ of wastelanders, often those who prize their brute strength. However, some reject all control, instead serving their parasite fully. These devoted experience severe growth and power at the cost of their humanity.
Ogre Origin: Made with people exposed to a certain mutagen. Unsure what their goal is at this time. Some of the mutants ally with their creators, mostly cause they have nowhere else to go and some don't want to degeenerate with age and injury,
Tech Ogres
Uneasy Mutant Alliance: It's an alliance between a much more advanced group and its creations, the discarded mutants. The discarded mutants partially know they were discarded, and so harbor notable dislike, also being some remember pre-mutation.
Those who ally themselves with their mutators get several benefits. They have better gear and food, though still mostly fight for themselves. They have robot allies they can use, some of them even ending up in large backpacks attached to the mutants. These robot backpack allies serve as an extra set of eyes and able to do simple functions.
Ogre Mutant soldiers: Soldiers of a mutated variety. They are bigger, stronger, but not necessarily smarter. They use upscaled weapons, often large harpoon guns, missile launchers, flamers, anything they can easily wield.
They are more controlled and thoughtful in their actions due to chemical suppressants and cybernetic implants. The cybernetic implants are mainly used to counter the extensive neural damage most suffer from, along with enhancing their already powerful faculties. The chemical suppressants suppress the Ogre Parasite, inhibiting further growth and mutation but also degeneration of their body.
Glow Ogres/Oni: The glowing only comes from when they are visible due to the huge amount of holotech surface implants. When fully powered they become near invisible to the naked eye. They served as spies and assassins.

Tribal Ogres
Tribal Ogres: Without a leader, they have reverted to tribalism. They rule by brute strength, raiding and pillaging what they want. What is distinct about them is their high mutagenic capacity, sometimes growing large protective scales, spikes, whatever that happens to happen.
Half-Ogres: These new converts have have the Ogre parasite added to them, either as the rare eggs or full parasites. They are slowly growing, adapting to the parasite, either turning into the stable Ogre Mutant or destabilizing into one of many mutants.
Gigante Ogres: Mostly the cause of age, these Ogres have grown to towering sizes. Their parasite has grown as well, often gaining a form of sentience and directing the mutant. It also tends to have a distinctively hunched back from the parasite.
Some of these Gigantes are totally consumed by the parasite, turned into feral titans that plague the wasteland, searching for food and new things to infect. Some retain a semblance of intelligence and community, wearing patchwork armor and wielding large weapons. There are a rare few Titan Soldiers, who have been enabled to grow their size while remaining fully intelligent. They have custom made armor and can even wield guns.

Ogre Weapons
Ogre Weaponry: Being larger than most humans, they tend to prefer heavier weapons as such.
- Railway Rifle/Large Spike Gun: A large, pneumatic gun that fires large spikes into enemies with considerable force, often enough to go right through armor and impale body parts on walls.
- Heavy Stone Club: Often some sort of pre-conflict sign incased in concrete. the handle has been reinforced and the concrete is now used as a heavy bludgeon. Sometimes has rebar spikes jutting out for extra sharp attack and possible tetanus infection.
- Minigun: A large gun that fires rifle rounds incredibly quickly. Its heavy and eats through ammo quickly, necessitating a large ammo pack with a belt leading from it to the gun.
- Missile Launcher: A launcher of missiles, what else? Fires tracking explosives far more accurate and further than a simple grenade rifle.
- Giant Sword: Exactly as it sounds. Forged crudely or simply torn from a larger piece of metal, this weapon is light and swings fast compared to the clubs.
