Adventurer's Guild MEMBERSHIP CONTRACT
I, the undersigned
Will in Mutual Agreement with my Brothers and Sisters of the Guild accept the Terms of Agreement listed below and swear the following Oaths of Conduct:
Oath of Good Relations
I swear to uphold and improve the Good Reputation of the Guild in the field as well as in encounters with all Kith.
Oath of Aid
I swear to aid and defend my Brothers and Sisters of the Guild whenever it is possible for me and within Reasonable Effort.
Oath of Truth
I swear to be Truthful in all Official Arbitrations as well as any other Assembly the Guild will call me to witness and counsel.
Oath of Prosperity
I swear to bring Prosperity and Wealth for the Guild to grow and swear to handle any Items granted to me by the Guild with Great Care.
Oath of Camaraderie
I swear not to partake in any Acts of Aggression or ill will against my Brothers and Sisters of the Guild.
I also accept the following Terms of Agreement with the following Conditions and Caveats:
Clause I
I agree to share my profits from the Field with those Brothers and Sisters of the Guild who accompany me.
Subclause I
Sharing is to be made in equal portions, unless all agree to an alternative share.
Clause II
Any debts or fees owed the Guild, the Hole-in-the-Floor Tavern or Guild officers are paid first, before shares are calculated and distributed.
Subclause I
Said debts and fees may be paid with Equipment and Paraphernalia found on the Field.
Clause III
Should I perish on the Field, I wish to Petition for Resurrection.
Subclause & Caveat I
I accept that my Resurrection will be subject to the Arbitration of the Guild.
Subclause & Caveat II
If I am found Reckless and Irresponsible in the events leading to my Demise, I accept that the Guild may decide to withhold from resurrecting me.
Subclause & Caveat III
I will do my best to retrieve the Bodies of my Fallen Brothers and Sisters of the Guild from the Field, when it is possible with reasonable Risk and Effort.
Clause IV
I accept that any Disputes among Brothers and Sisters of the Guild may be subject to Arbitration if any Party so wishes.
Subclause I
The Arbitration will be conducted by the Grandmaster or the Guild or a Court of my Peers, should the need arise.
Subclause & Caveat II
I will accept any Ruling of Arbitration given by the Guild and will not hold any further Animosity.
Subclause & Caveat III
I will accept that a second Arbitration of the same matter will not be possible, unless substantial evidence of misconduct arises.
Clause V
Should I break any Oath or Clause in this Agreement, I will accept that I will be banished from the Guild.
This I swear in the Name of the Gods Above and Below.
