Creating Magic Items
Crafting a magic item requires, skill, materials, money, arcane energy and time. The table below shows the time and costs for a typical durable item, (armor, weapons, adventuring gear, etc.) The costs and time are halved for single use items (potions, magic ammunition, etc.)
The requirements for crafting a magic item are:
1. Proficiency in the Arcana skill.
2. Proficiency in the skill /tools needed to craft the item. (example Leatherworker's Tools for Leather armor.)
3. Material components for the spell imbued into the item.
4. A spellcaster who knows and has perpared the spell.
5. Material components of the necessary rarity to produce the item.
6. Money for the consumed materials, fixtures, jigs, etc. needed to produce the item.
7. Time to produce the item.
8. A workshop with the necessary workspace and tools, which will not be disturbed during the process.
9. The formula / recipe for the item.
