Political /Military Ranking
King – the King is the leader of all of the Dwarven military forces and has the final word in High Justice. A King can be deposed, but his rulings can legally only be overturned by the King.
Aethelings – Are relatives of the King and possible Heirs to the King.
Aerdormen – are leaders of the Fyrds (Battle Groups) made up of several Thanes and their troops.
Thanes – are leaders of the warriors of a clan.
Housecarls are the Thanes picked warriors, his bodyguard and best fighters.
Warriors
Ceorls are non-military members of society
Geneatas is the rank of the wealthy, landholders or leaders of craft or trade.
Kotsetla are the majority of the working farmers, tradesmen or craftsmen.
Geburas are the poorest farmers or craftsmen, usually a younger dwarf starting out.
