Most Atlanteans spend their lives at sea. Atlantean merchants sail across the world on missions taking several years. About two centuries ago, a group of Atlanteans founded the island nation of Keverny.

Average Technological Level

Atlanteans, in 499, successfully reverse engineered the propulsion of the Gith airships and have applied it to their ocean-going ships. The Atlanteans have ships that do not rely upon sails and the wind.

History

In pre-history, the Dark Elves warred against an Elven nation, and drove them from their homes to the banks of the ocean. Krymera, goddess of the Ministry of Storm , took pity on these Elves and transported them to the island of Atlantis, where their blood intermingled with the humans already residing there, resulting in the Atlantean race.
When the Dark Elves and their island's disappeared, Atlantis started to slowly sink. The Atlanteans took to boats to evacuate. Again Krymera intervenened and protected the boats of the Atlanteans. The Atlanteans adapted becoming a race of sea-faring merchants with no fixed home aside from their ship.
