The Crawling Chaos

While the other Outer Gods have been exiled, willing or otherwise, to beyond the stars, Nyarlathotep walks among the creatures of dunia. He can appear as a tall, slim, joyous man, he has a thousand other forms and manifestations, many quite horrific and sanity-blasting.

Nyarlathotep is the messanger and deputy of Azathoth whose incomprehensible (to mortal creatures) wishes he immediately fulfills. In his dealings with mortals he prefers to spread madness rather than death or destruction.
