King Osmont Châtignory I (Shaw-tig-noar-ee)

King Osmont Châtignory, I

Referred to by his subjects as a bumbling child who was given a pointy hat and called king, the current king-by-blood of Périçon was made king recently in the year 1010 PC, following the death of his beloved by most mother, Queen Pernelle Châtignory II. In his short reign, he has made many of controversial decisions.   Outside his borders, where his influence wanes, the rose colored glasses are rarely found, and his rule is strictly ridiculed. Inside the boundaries of Périçon the people are akin to one who has bonded with their captor, if they were born into their captor's basement.
